What to Expect at Your Appointment
Specialist Consultation
You will be seen by Miss Salena Bains, who will take a full history and perform a clinical breast examination. This is coupled with an ultrasound scan which incurs additional charges.
Ultrasound Scan
An ultrasound scan will be carried out during the same appointment by Dr Faisal Majid, an experienced Consultant Breast Radiologist. Both the consultation and the ultrasound exam will be conducted together and will not be done in isolation.
Immediate Results and Discussion
In most cases, you will receive your imaging results on the same day, along with a clear explanation of findings and any recommended next steps.
Breast Biopsy (If Required)
If an abnormality is identified, an ultrasound-guided breast biopsy can be performed during the same visit. Biopsies are charged separately and discussed in detail before proceeding.
Mammography Referral
Should mammography be needed, a referral can be made directly by our consultants to ensure smooth and timely access.

At House of Health, we are proud to offer a bespoke One-Stop Breast Clinic led by Miss Salena Bains, a highly respected Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon.
Miss Bains brings a wealth of experience in managing the full spectrum of breast conditions, from benign concerns to breast cancer. She is highly skilled in oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery, enabling her to combine effective cancer treatment with excellent cosmetic outcomes.
Dr Faisal Majid
Consultant Breast and General Radiologist
Dr Faisal Majid is a Consultant Breast and General Radiologist leading the breast imaging services at House of Health. With a strong focus on early and accurate diagnosis, Dr Majid plays a key role in the delivery of our One-Stop Breast Clinic — ensuring patients receive prompt, high-quality imaging and, when needed, image-guided procedures during a single visit.
He will be joining Miss Bains in the one-stop breast clinic for imaging.
