No. We welcome both self-referrals and GP referrals. You can book an appointment directly with our clinic for immediate peace of mind.
It means that your clinical consultation with the surgeon, your ultrasound scan with the radiologist, and any required biopsies are all completed during a single clinic visit. You will also receive your imaging results and an explanation on the same day.
You will see both. Our clinic is unique because the consultant breast surgeon and the consultant breast radiologist conduct your assessment and ultrasound together.
We primarily utilise high-resolution breast ultrasounds on-site. If a mammogram is clinically required following your assessment, our consultants will provide a direct, rapid referral to ensure smooth, timely access.
If an abnormality is identified on ultrasound, the consultant radiologist can perform a minimally invasive, ultrasound-guided breast biopsy during the same visit. We will discuss this procedure and any associated costs with you fully before proceeding.
