We provide deep, clinical assessments for complex joint and tendon conditions. Led by top private MSK consultants in Birmingham, we treat the following conditions:
PRP is highly effective for chronic tendon pain that has failed to heal with physiotherapy alone. The concentrated growth factors stimulate sluggish tissue repair for conditions like Tennis Elbow, Golfer's Elbow, Achilles Tendonitis, Patellar Tendonitis (Jumper's Knee), and Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy.
Accelerated recovery for acute sports injuries. Utilising the same treatment protocols used by professional football clubs, PRP helps bridge tissue gaps and accelerate return to play for Ankle Ligament Sprains, MCL/LCL Knee Sprains, Hamstring and Calf Muscle Tears, and Plantar Fasciitis (Heel Pain).
For joint wear and tear, PRP reduces inflammation and slows degeneration by improving the joint's biological environment. We treat Knee Osteoarthritis, Hip & Shoulder Arthritis, Ankle & Foot Joint Pain, and Thumb Base Arthritis.
We offer a combined Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Hyaluronic Acid treatment. This delivers the Gold Standard dual-action relief, stimulating tissue repair with PRP while cushioning the joint with HA. It is often significantly more effective than single treatments alone.
We provide high-frequency MSK ultrasound access during your appointment to accurately assess the joint and guide the injection.
A non-invasive, real-time scan to visualise the extent of the tear, inflammation, or arthritis. This ensures we are treating a condition that will actually respond to PRP.
Every PRP injection is performed under ultrasound guidance to ensure the platelet concentrate is delivered exactly into the damaged fibres or joint space.
If further imaging is required to rule out fractures or severe degeneration, our consultants can arrange immediate referrals.
Hydrate well before your appointment, as we will need to draw blood. Avoid anti-inflammatory medications (such as ibuprofen) for 48 hours prior to the procedure, as they can suppress platelet response.
You may experience mild soreness for 2-3 days as the healing process kickstarts. We provide a tailored recovery plan, usually involving relative rest followed by gradual loading exercises.
Detailed assessment, personalised care plan, and recommended tests.
Review progress, adjust treatment, and provide ongoing guidance.
Note: Any required MRI/CT scans, advanced blood tests, or combined PRP + HA therapies are charged separately. Your doctor will clearly explain these costs during your visit to ensure full transparency.

PRP is a treatment that uses a patient's own platelet-rich plasma to accelerate healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints. It uses your body's own healing system to repair damage.
Unlike steroid injections, which are one-off, regenerative therapy typically requires repeated biological stimulation. We typically recommend a course of 3 injections, spaced 2-4 weeks apart, depending on the injury.
Yes. Because PRP uses your own blood (autologous), there is no risk of allergic reaction or rejection. The main risks are minor (bruising, soreness) and are minimised by using ultrasound guidance and aseptic technique.
Yes. Evidence suggests that combining PRP (healing) and HA (lubrication) in a single session is significantly more effective than either treatment alone. We offer this combined therapy for arthritis and joint pain.
The blood draw is like a standard blood test. The injection itself can be mildly uncomfortable, but we use local anaesthetic and ultrasound guidance to ensure the process is quick and precise.
