The Treatment
If you are happy to proceed, treatment is quick. The CryoPen releases a fine jet of freezing agent directly onto the lesion for a few seconds. You may feel a sharp, cold, stinging sensation, but it is brief, and most people tolerate it well without anaesthetic.
Aftercare

Most people feel only a brief, sharp, cold or stinging sensation during treatment, which lasts a few seconds. Anaesthetic is not usually needed. The area may feel tender for a short time afterwards.
