Dr Steve Amerasekara
Dr Amerasekera qualified in Medicine from the University of Cambridge, having taken an intercalated degree in Biological Anthropology. He completed a general medical rotation and a year as a teaching fellow before undertaking radiology training in the West Midlands.
Dr Amerasekera is a Consultant Radiologist at University Hospital Birmingham and also has a keen interest in teaching and training, having obtained a postgraduate certificate in Medical Education from Keele University.

At House of Health, Dr Amerasekera offers general ultrasound and specialist musculoskeletal ultrasound. He also performs ultrasound-guided interventions, including steroids, local anaesthetic and platelet rich plasma.
He was the radiologist at the Commonwealth Games and currently is the sub-speciality lead of MSK and Trauma at University Hospital Birmingham, NHS Trust.
