Mrs Jamila Shahid is a Consultant Gynaecologist with over 25 years’ NHS and private experience, with a specialist interest in infertility and reproductive medicine. At House of Health she offers gynaecology consultations, diagnostics, minor procedures under local anaesthetic, contraception and ongoing management of gynaecological conditions.
Her areas of focus include heavy, irregular and inter-menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, endometriosis and adenomyosis, fibroids and ovarian cysts, polycystic ovary syndrome, menopause, and fertility and recurrent miscarriage consultations.
Where surgery is recommended — including hysterectomy, myomectomy, prolapse repair or laparoscopy — Mrs Shahid arranges this at a registered surgical hospital and continues to oversee your care throughout. Fertility treatment requiring an HFEA licence, such as IVF, is not provided at House of Health; Mrs Shahid will complete your investigations and refer you to a licensed centre.
