Mr Ahmed specialises in minimally invasive ureteroscopy as well as percutaneous approaches for renal and ureteric stones. He also subspecialises in laser surgery for prostate and bladder cancer and stones. He takes an active interest in dealing with female incontinence and provides botulinum toxin therapy as well as neuro-stimulation.
Surgeries for various genitalia and foreskin pathologies are performed as well as investigations and management for all forms of urological malignancies and exotic infections.
He is a Visiting Professor of Urology at Dow University of Health Sciences, Trustee and Treasurer elect at the British Association of Urological Surgeons, Regional Advisor & Tutor at Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow and former Secretary General of Association of Pakistani Physicians of Northern Europe.
